Fabrication Processes & Projects

Clients often come to J & M Fabrications because we offer a complete ‘one-stop-shop’ service. Few companies have the in-house fabrication resources to meet every possible need and, on occasion, we need to use external businesses to perform some of the required processes for some of the jobs we undertake. In these cases we are responsible for the specification, testing, quality and scheduling of the work performed by our carefully chosen subcontractors.

The acquisition of new equipment allows us to offer very cost effective batch work which previously hasn’t been practicable. With the new CNC Guillotine and Press (180 Tonnes – capable of repetitive folding of 2.5m x 3mm steel) clients with requirements for very accurate and consistent batch work are coming J&M Fabs.

Fabrication Processes – In-house

The following processes are performed in-house at J&M Fabrications:

  • Welding – MIG, TIG – AC/DC, Pipe
  • Machining – Turning, milling, drilling
  • Rolling
  • Shearing
  • Punching
  • Forming

Managed Fabrication Services

The following processes are undertaken, where required, by carefully chosen subcontractors who operate as a J&M Fabrications managed service for our clients:

  • Plasma cutting
  • Laser cutting
  • Testing
  • Coating
