Design & Build Service

When you don’t have the resources to provide technical specs of your fabrication requirements…

Businesses of all shapes & sizes

Who know what they want in outline and need help to bring it to reality

Design & Build

Much of the work J & M Fabrications Ltd undertake is performed against engineering drawings provided by our clients. We also work to sketches and on rare occasions verbal instructions. In most cases where we have no client drawings, we create basic drawings for client approval before fabrication work begins.

When fabricating bespoke, one-off items the client generally has a very good idea of what is required. Often, the required component or product is replacing something which has either worn out or which needs replacing to improve functionality. In these cases the J&M team will be able to offer practical & effective suggestions to improve the performance of the component and / or reduce the complexity.

Continuous Improvement

Most of the jobs passing through the Melton workshop are unique, one-offs. However, every fabricated piece offers the J&M team the opportunity to learn something which can be applied to the improvement of the next job – Continuous Improvement!

About design & build

Sometimes talk to an experienced fabricator, walking the area, identifying the constraints and outlining how you think it might look & work can be the best way.

Why? Because the experienced fabricator from J&M Fabrications will probably have created something similar and your component / product / project will benefit from his/her experience and expertise.
